oreo fudgsicles with a kick

fudgsicle 1

i LOVE fudgesicles!  i was so excited to get my new zoka in the mail a few months ago and have been anxiously waiting for summer to come here in endlessly cloudy seattle so that i could make a tasty cold treat such as these!!  low and behold, summer has FINALLY arrived!!

fudgsicle 2

i found these incredibly delectable fudge pops while surfing foodgawker on rikki snyder’s photography webpage, and decided i had to make them that day!!!  i kept the recipe pretty much the same, except i added in a little cayenne pepper to give them a little unexpected kick, and some oreo crumbs because we all know i can not live without oreos – they make anything and everything better 🙂

the result was as good, if not even better than i had anticipated!!  and my zoka machine??  AH-MA-ZING!!  this thing can make a popsicle in under ten minutes, it’s craziness, and i love it!!  i can not wait to make these again, and mom – you have to make these for dad, they’re healthy and fudge-y so he’ll LOVE them 🙂  try these TODAY with or without my add-ins (for a more traditional pop try it without the cayenne) and let me know how they turn out!!

i added in 1 cup crushed gluten free oreos and 1/8 t cayenne pepper
