goodbye 2011, hello 2012!!

 

since we’ve both been sick over the holidays, and wanting a relaxing night, tomas and i decided to stay in this new years to bring in 2012.  we got take out from one of our favorite restaurants, mojito – a venezuelan restaurant right around the corner from our house, which we both scarfed down!!  we have champagne and ice cream for later 🙂

 

 

2011 has been a year of huge changes for us – we moved across the country, i started graduate school, tomas has started a new job and has graduated from grad school himself, we bought a new car, i am now sans one organ, i started a blog, my brother got deployed to afghanistan for a year, and last but certainly not least, we got engaged!!  this year has been a big one, and i can’t say enough how much we have appreciated everyone’s support and love throughout all our big changes!!  we are truly blessed in so many ways, and are so incredibly thankful for our friends and loved ones!!

 

 

here is to 2012 – may it bring new adventures and blessed tidings to everyone!!  tomas would giggle at me, but i have good vibes for 2012, hopefully it will bring everyone the clarity and joy i truly feel it will!!
